"Ad astra per alia porci"
As near as I can translate this, it means "Toward a heavenly body by means of a different pig."
What's a clearer translation of that?
Adam on their site there is a place you can send them a message to report misuse . I simply tagged their fraud button category and sent them the above.

It means "To the stars on the garlic plants of a pig."
Someone miscopied John Steinbeck's personal motto, and the erroneous version got spread over the web and everyone now seems to quote the error.
It should be: Ad astra per alas porci.' - That means "To the stars on the wings of a pig."

Yep, I prefer the misquote. I intended for it to be a quiet reminder to handle the internet carefully. You can argue any side of any argument using the internet, complete with all of its misquotations and erroneous references - as well as all of its correct information.
😉
I can't spend too much time on that site without my eyeballs starting to bleed.
Possible solution?
Don't go there at all.
I shant.
If the graphics/background didn't jump around so much and make it so hard to navigate it would be a lot better. There actually is a lot of good info on that site.
It just needs to be plainer and cleaner.
Thanks
Thanks both for the latin lesson. Good advice Adam, but probably too hidden from those who need it to do much good.
