On paper the Sooners should win going away but this game has had some great upsets over the years and Texas has shown a ton of improvement since their opening game.
All this is somewhat overshadowed by the offer of joining the Big 12 being sent to TCU. I like that as they were part of the old SW Conference. I expect Mizzo to jump ship any day now though if the SEC will take them. And the rumor mill continues as talks either Louisville or West Virginia also joining our ranks.
Seems like the Big East is in serious trouble now down to only six teams.
I'll sure be glad when all the shaking and baking is done on all these changes.

Missouri does not have enouth votes for acceptance from the current SEC members. For one, Alabama is concerned that it would require a division realignment and lose some annual rivalry games.
They have other games? Crazy. 🙂

Not to hijack the thread, but it sounds like Missouri was holding out for an invitation to the Big Ten, but I do not see that invitation coming soon according to Jim Delany. If Missouri does join the SEC, what does that do to their wrestling program? They have been building up a decent program and joining the SEC would put the skids to it. Joining the Big Ten makes more sense geographically, academically and allows them to keep their wrestling program, which would be in a great wrestling conference. Just my two cents.
LSU doesn't have any wrassling program? I figured with all the alligator folks they would have a ton of raw talent.

It looks like a stacked deck against the Horns this year but they have improved a ton since they changed QB's. And it is the Red River Shootout so strange things have happened. If they can keep it close and then get a break or two (fumble-intercept) then I give them a chance to garner a win. But, I would not bet any money on it. 🙂
I hope TT whips the tar out of Texas A&M today but that should be a pretty good game. Two weeks in a row that TAMU has folded in the second half.
And I give Nebraska a very good shot at beating Ohio State today.
Sure were a lot of head scratching picks again this week.
