We had some real nasty storms rule thru southern CT Monday. Thunder was shaking my computer monitor.
Did you see rotation? It's hard to tell in a still photo, but it doesn't look quite right to me to be rotating.
The crew saw it and came back with 8 shots of it. With a slideshow you can sort of see the rotation. Does this mean I have to get the crew a DSLR to photo such phenomena?

yes, i see shapes in the clouds and that one certainly looks like a great big hard rolled up plan.
There is something called "cold weather tornado's". They don't touch the ground and if they do, they aren't very powerfull. That could be what you saw, but I'm guessing.
