You must be talking about an edible aspect of cow pies that fall in magic pastures.
Skipping both parades today.?ÿ The one at 11:00 was in the middle of a rain storm.?ÿ That's a no go for sure when it involves having an open top auto out in the rain for a minimum of three hours, counting the drive time there and back.?ÿ Currently, the entire county is in yellow on the radar map, so the likelihood of going to the 4:00 parade only 25 miles away is slim.?ÿ I don't think attempting to drive and hold a giant umbrella at the same time is feasible.
Maybe I'll take in the 12 team volleyball tournament at our high school for a while this afternoon instead.?ÿ Dry......I hope.?ÿ We did have hail damage to all roofs that have not been repaired yet.
Hit the biggest parade yet today.?ÿ Must have been about 12 blocks worth of lineup.?ÿ One heck of a crowd.?ÿ I'm sure there were more people watching than the listed population?ÿ of the city.?ÿ Silly people were out into the street so far they had to pull back a bit when some of the big floats went by.?ÿ I have quickly learned that participants who toss candy into the crowd as they pass are generally horrible at throwing.?ÿ Half the candy ends up were the following entries are driving or walking.?ÿ Forty cajillion little kids and old folks with walkers trying to scoop it up just before they get ran over.?ÿ I could picture myself on the 5:30 evening national news when the networks get access to some of the 200 private videos showing me plow into about 50 minors and 12 seniors before getting stopped.?ÿ Worse yet, I might run over someone's pet anklebiter on a leash.
It was fun, though.?ÿ Driving home I took off my cool little flat-topped cap and put on my gawdawful looking padded goggles (gold, no less) and let what little hair I have left blow in the breeze.?ÿ My wife says the goggles make me look like a giant mutant fly from some sci-fi movie.?ÿ The hair resembles a shorter version of that on the scientist in Back to the Future.
Moi?
