Sounds like a better option than eating "with relish the inner organs of beasts and fowls"

Yep...and my daughter's birthday...who has her bachelor's in English and a master's in Creative Writing...

Wonder if there is any connection?

I imagine she is celebrating tonight with a nice stout or ale....

Happy # 28 Christine!

wow 28 years ago.
weren't we doing the summer field practicum course in surveying and I was constantly cussing about taking the business accounting during the summer also. 😀
hmm that reminds me.. I have to start on new spreadsheet here. Now.

recently read Just Kids by Patti Smith even though I am not a fan and had scant knowledge of her life.
It is well written memoir of a time and place.
Interesting tale.
Sounds like Christine might enjoy it.

You are correct Mr. Hill....we were taking the surveying summer course....you tracked me down while I was working on my 1968 VW Campmobile to tell me Lee was in labor and I needed to get my butt out of Fayetteville and up to Rolla to be there when Christine was born....

That was a long time ago....

I will recommend that book to her!
