I note that the pink color in the sky is easily 30 degrees North of where I expect the Sun to rise.

your upper and lower motion clamp screws were tight? I know that sometimes all my screws are not quite tight.

Well I Finally Saw The Sun In The Right Place
It was about a 1/2 hour late gettin above the clouds to the Southeast, but the pink sky North of East still bepuzzles me.
