I invented this and it's pretty good:
2 oz Vodka (I used Monopolowa which is an economical but pretty good Polish Vodka made in Austria-forgive the lack of actual Russian Vodka).
2 oz Irish Whiskey
1/2 oz Dry French Vermouth (Noily Prat is good).
Pour the ingredients into a pint glass over ice. Stir using a bar spoon.
Strain into a chilled Martini glass.
Garnish with olives.

Don
I'll try it...
I may have to repeat my experiments to verify my findings...
The recipe I found called for 2 oz Vodka, 1/2 oz Irish and 1/2 Vermouth but I happen to like Irish so I changed the recipe.
