Anyone know any national carriers that provide:
Personal-auto, home
Business-gen liability, professional liability
Looking to go with one carrier for all. Currently split between 3.
Thanks.
All I know is my brother has Allstate insurance. Several weeks ago he had an accident while he was on vacation over 200 miles away.
His truck was parked along the street and an idiot texting on his phone ran into the back of it while driving down the highway. He was not insured.
Allstate would not provide a rental car and would not tow the truck because the other driver did not have insurance. My brother had "un-insured motorist" insurance.
He had to find a way home on his own and wait a week for Allstate to figure out if they were going to tow it home. At first they wanted him to have it repaired where the accident occurred.
He finally gets it towed back and it has been sitting at a body shop still waiting for an adjuster to look at it. Still no rental. Meanwhile he is stuck driving an old ranch truck that gets 10 mpg.
Definitely not anything like the experiences I have had with AAA.
Allstate may have been cheaper, but when it really came down to actually using the insurance...not so good.
The closest I have come is everything with State Farm except E&O.
E&O is such a specialty, niche market that I don't know of any company that caries it all.
You might find a broker / independent agent that will procure everything for you, but it will be with multiple companies.

I just got my NSPS membership packet today and there is a flyer for Assurance Risk Managers. They seem to carry a full range of lines to cover you. The web address listed on the packet is www.arm-i.com and the telephone number is 888-454-9562

I've had them for years. Not sure about the auto (Progressive for me), but ARM is very easy to work with and very affordable for all your business needs - even for solo guys like me. But you have to be a member of NSPS.
Keep us posted
USAA seems to have the best rates if you're ex-military. Not sure about Professional Liability.
I have my E&O through State Farm specialty products, but I don't know if they offer it in every state. I have NJ manufacturers for Auto insurance though which is superior.

ARM are brokers - not a company rep so you will most likely end up with multiple companies.
