buy these

http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/63020?feat=502921-GN2

a bit spendy but man they are comfortable. wrinkle free that really works. and the "hidden comfort" stretch side panels keep them from biting if you have to set for a long time. i would much rather be in my bdus but if i have to take my monthly shower and get cleaned up for my parole officer visit these are the way to go.

Got'em, second your thoughts.
If you really want to step up a pair of so-so (inexpensive) pants, take them to a good alteration shop.
For around $20, in my experience, you will be looking like a million bucks!
Try it on an old pair, you'll be amazed.

I don't know but It's been said....
Choosey parole officers prefer LA Police Gear.
Some of their stuff makes a nice mix between
dress and functional.
I haven't tried your suggestion so forgive me
for cutting in.
