and subpoena a couple of cases, for Inspection and Testing purposes, of course.
Sierra Nevada Hoptimum, 100 bitterness units, 10.4 ABV (there's gonna be a cross-eyed inspector walking around pretty soon):
Interestingly enough, I happen to be in Chico even as we speak.
I saw the Hoptimum in the market last evening, but opted for a four pack of their Torpedo in cans.
Very tasty.
Don
Kewl. I'm betting that it'll taste pretty good.
So I'm still in Chico (home of the Sierra Nevada Brewery, which is why Dave wants to pilgrimage there) and got some of the Hoptimum tonight.
Actually a little too hoppy for my taste, and you didn't mention the 10.4 % ABV, Dave.
But that is some impressive beer.
Don
EDIT
Oops, you did mention it.
Wasn't paying attention. Deflinitely not paying attention now.
Anybody want to talk about college kids 🙂
OOPs, I erased Don's brain 🙁
Sorry about that.
Dave:
If you're in to hoppy brews, next time you're in Santa Rosa, check out Russian River Brewing.
The brewmaster and owner, Vince Cilurzo, mentored me in the mid-90's on hopping my brews.
Vince's beers are a bit hoppy for me. I prefer bigger malt in the profile, such as Nothern British Bitters and Scottish ales.
