I have a fairly new little website and I am trying to boost it so it will show up quicker when folks do a search on any of the primary search engines.
All of the SEO key words and other techno wizardry has been put in it but I'm told it would help if it got a lot of traffic so.....with that thought in mind will you go to my website and cruise the minimalistic little site that I wanted and maybe it will show up on the web search engines sooner.
Done. Another trick our website guy told us was to search for example "surveyor city, town" don't click on anything that pops up on the search page. Now add your company name in the search bar so it reads "surveyor city, town aaa surveying company. Press search then click on your website. Do this from as many different IP addresses as you can, and you will begin to move up to the top

Thanks, I will do that.
Oh.....and in consideration of TXSurveyors post, if you guys want to include it in your search I live in a Euharlee, Georgia. Oh it's pronounced You-Har-Lee.
But you'll see that on the website and its my first website so don't gig me too hard.

Be honest....should I have left my picture off and just went with my wife's pic?
I did it also. I also grabbed everyone's phone around me this afternoon and did TXsurveyor's suggestion on my own website. I use google adwords so any help I can get without paying for it helps.

I believe it works. We opened up shop last August with a website day one. In a town of less than 30k population with 3 other survey companies, neared "big town" is 25 minutes away with around 80k population and 9 surveyors. It took us 11 months but we are now #1 on the search for our hometown and #3 in the nearby town.
Have you had much luck with google ad words?

Well, since you asked...
I'd ditch the visa/mastercard/discovery/ credit card logos on the home page

Nope, the credit card logos will stay.

I get a lot of calls from the adwords. I spend about $375 a month on it. I get the price shoppers and surveys I don't want to do. If I get one elevation cert from the calls then it is covered for the month. I live in the Houston area so there a few surveyors and about 6 million people. I do get referrals from a few bigger firms that don't have the ability to profit on smaller surveys. I would love to have my website appear organically instead of paying.
I too am a service disabled vet (70%)....where would one retrieve that banner at the bottom? Thanks, Ron...
