Its for my dad. He is 84 (Thats like 588 in dog years) and he does everything in a field book, and he uses the FT M button, for eleminateing typos.

Does anybody have a crashed GTS 3, for parts?

Many Thanks!

Nate

Haha....but it's only like 25½ in Metric.

Sorry, Can't help you with the GTS3. I only have my GTS-2 (still working fine).

GTS3 is a great instrument. I have 2 that are both working just fine!

I would suggest you keep an eye on eBay or try a shop like Hayes.

Everybody I have talked with, no longer have parts for old faithful. GTS 3-b and 3C were just too reliable!

Not ready to part out my GTS3 yet, but I like your dad's style. We still require Ft/M distances written in the field book, even though we use a data collector.

I GOT ONE!!!

I went to a local resale shop, and bought a TV remote for a buck. It 2 buttons that fit, but stuck out a little more. So, I now have 2 and one will go back in it tonite! Gotta clean it with 'lectrical contact cleaner, and assemble! I had to cut them out of the membrane.

YIPPIE!
