i wouldn't worry about it. Money laundering isn't such a big deal, it's that dirty money that you have to worry about. and you've got a couple of days to locate the rest of the paper work. it was nice of the eff bee eye to give you a notice.

But just do what I do- donate all of the lost money you come across in your e-mail to the American Red Cross and let the "donors" know you have assigned the funds.

I had received these phoney letters from the FBI before. I suspected the County Surveyor's office was behind it. Fergeson (the County Surveyor) was sore with me because I found the original quarter corner out at the Stadium Project. They had just wanted to sneak home plate over onto old man Russel's place but that just didn't sit right with me. One time they even sent a hot little number with just the right shade of blonde hair over to try to trip me up, turns out she worked out of the Bunko Squad at the El Cerrito P.D.

I figured Mr. Ninety-three was involved somehow but just hadn't put together any proof yet. Rumor was he got the name from the old license board; the one that had the mysterious fire in the records vault. It was strange how the County Surveyor just happened to have an iron clad aliby, too good an alibi for sure.
