Does anyone have any good websites (or suggestions) for Survey Programs for the HP 50? I have a long drive coming up this week and could use this time to punch in all the formulas while the better half drives and the kids sleep (hopefully).

Thanks,

Ryan

This is a pretty good set of programs for a fee buy reasonably priced.

Have you personally used this package? I am thinking of replacing my old 48gx and TDS card that is going on almost 20 years old. This Pro package seems to have much more stuff and is very reasonably priced. Plus you can get a new HP50g for like 75 bux.

Yes I have the package on my HP50. It seems to be rather comprenhensive and the instructions are good. There is a HMS+ and HMS- button in one of the windows, curve solver, triangle solver, etc. I can't say that I am an expert with it as I still use my HP48 with a RAMSS module installed which I really like but it is getting old.

The program is stored on a memory card and I had no problem downloading and installing it, when I did have a question I got a prompt expert reply. I really think that it is a pretty good package and as I said very reasonably priced.

I use Quickclose.

Quite good (and only takes 10min tops to load onto the calculator!)

That bit looks pretty cool as well. I did not know that there were options for the 50 and I am not about to program one myself. I don't use calculators like I used to but they are handy especially with geodetic, map projection, regular COGO, etc. programs and still small. Not to mention the math in a box deal. I think I spent like 350 US bux back in 1994/1995 era for a 48gx and a TDS card. It was the cat's meow and I still use it....sometimes.
