Air conditioning, fenced yard, mature landscaping, fresh paint, off street parling, lots of extras, move-in ready and park-like backyard.

Yeah, but, the neighbors have appliances and hot water.

I used to know some people that washed collard greens in one of the old school washing machines which sat on their front porch.

Peter Ehlert posted it on Facebook. I think it is probably in Mexico.

There is a gym attached to the side.

The fence appears there to keep you at home.

Compound of sorts?

Notice the strands of barb wire are facing into the compound to keep the occupants inside the enclosure. Thus allowing the public to safely travel along the roadway. Ya think??

Have a great 4th all. Heading to Meadview and hope it doesn't rain.... but the forecast is what it is. These AZ monsoons are fun sometimes, but they sure reek some havoc.

Barbed wire to keep the winos and crackheads out of the road...

Oh, jeez... did I just say that out loud?

Compound of sorts?

Actually, if that's California, then those are probably half-million-dollar estates.

Imperial, California
A simple farming community near El Centro in the Imperial Valley.
I think I spotted it on Google Earth:
32°50'41.10"N
115°34'10.00"W
-59ft MSL

I took the photo in the spring of 2008 as I was passing thru.

The typo was mine, windows does not do spell check in file names... sorry Dave!

Fascinating local history,see : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salton_Sink
