Yesterday was the first day we've had both children with us since about this time last year. It just seems that we've all got something going on all the time.
BUT when I told them I would make peach ice cream that got them home.
4 eggs well beaten
2 cups sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 1/2 tsp - 1 tbsp vanilla
1 quart half & half
1 quart heavy whipping cream
Beat the above ingredients well, fill container with milk and freeze in ice cream freezer.
Of course you need fresh peaches (from Georgia of course) chopped small just before placing it in the freezer.

When
the Elberta peaches (from Georgia) are ripe (another month or so) they are the best I have ever tasted.
