I saw that in the paper earlier today and was amazed. I think of a traffic jam as having to sit through more than one cycle of the traffic light.
It says that it was mostly related to all of the coal hauling trucks that jam the highways. I saw on the history channel last night that China gets 82 percent of their electricity from coal fired plants.
It will just get worse when we get all of those coal burning cars on the road. Electric cars is what they are called, but they consume power from the grid which is mostly coal powered.
