I worked for a survey manager a hundred years or so ago. I hated working with him or dealing with him at work but off the job he was facinating. He was at Bastone; stole a car and went AWOL for a weekend to see Paris (figured it was the only chance he would have in his lifetime); good stories like that. So he was at at a USO show "over there" and he commented to a buddy, "Hey that horn player is good". "He ought to be, that's Harry James"!
