Happy Veterans Day to Lamon Miller

Thanks indeed all you veterans.

I’m not even sure if Louisiana surveyor Lamon Miller is a vet, but I always think of him when Veteran’s Day rolls around . Years ago on the old board I posted a request that if anyone in Louisiana lived near Alexandria National Cemetery, I’d appreciate it if they could someday take a photo of my dad’s tombstone, which I’ve never seen. Lamon jumped on my request and shortly thereafter mailed me photos of dad’s tombstone, the cemetery entrance and some general photos of the cemetery. It was only after talking to Lamon on the phone that I realized that he lives a good 100 miles away from Alexandria. To extend such a kindness to a complete stranger halfway across the continent is one of the most noble acts I’ve ever been the recipient of.
Again, thanks Lamon Miller.
