I thought the REAL Mardi Gras was in Mobile. Just a little dig there. I have friends in Mobile that get their feelings hurt when everyone thinks the only celebration is in Nawlins.

I like Mobile, when I get to Mobile I realize that I am almost to Florida.
While it may, or may not, be true that the first Mardi Gras celebrations, in North America, where held in Mobile, the traditions of Mardi Gras were begun long before Christopher Columbus was even born.
