This isn't near where you guys are, is it?

Hope the people that are in this area stay safe, Tornadoes are not hat common out here and in December? WOW!

Yea that is near us...about 20-25 miles as the crow flies. My local friends are all talking about it on Facebook. Looks like it is headed North and not West where we are currently.

Crazy weather!!! :-O I should go out and take pics of the flooding creeks and rivers around here for you guys. 😐

Aumsville, Marion County.

Tornado, reported by Fire Dept/Rescue.

East and west bound lanes covered with debris near town
of Shaw. Many auto accidents between mile posts 42 and 45
due to hail on roads.

Tornado, reported by broadcast media.

Damage to many homes and businesses in Aumsville.
Overturned semi trailer. Uprooted trees. Also... many
reports of flying debris hitting autos and other
structures... such as two by four lumber stud blown into a

Wow! I can hardly wait to tell my friends about Shaw getting hit by a tornado. They will tell me what I'm full of. Then, I'll say: Shaw, Oregon. Then they'll do vile things to me.

A tornado isn't close until it is under 1/2 mile away.

I totally ignore any at 2 or more miles away.

They are getting upclose and personal at about an eighth of a mile. I met one at a distance of about 400 feet once. About 50 years back.
