A six-pack and a pack of smokes. Maybe $10 or so.
I'm talking about music stuff - no computer stuff.
Gees.. I haven't thrown down on a piano in something like 30 years.
To be honest I don't know if I read music anymore.
I'll teach/remind myself.
It's a Yamaha PSR-19. It's been so long since had my fingers on some keyboard action it will take some time to figure it out again. The only piece I can remember is the opening parts from the Star Spangled Banner.
So far I have figured out to put it pipe organ mode but can't remember what I wanted to play.
Last time was me and friend on lunch one day at some warehouse store (Sam's Club, Pace) and I found the keyboard displays. My bud thought I was full of it until I hooked one up and played some Eric Clapton stuff. For the life of me I can't remember the tune. The song/tune is running through my head but I just can't recall what it is/was.
I might just be up for a while!!
A new toy! I haven't had a new toy in years.
E
Fantastic, E! Hope you have a blast. Math and music are supposed to go together, but in my case, it didn't work. I do know the difference between the note C and a C-note, but not much else.
Anyway, in organ mode, give this one a shot. You get 5 extra points if you know the origin of the tune, and 10 if you saw the original commercial in its first run.

That's great E. When the thrill wanes get your ass to a Doctor post haste!!! 🙂
Hell I remember the words.....
Her comes the King, here comes the big number one.
Budwieser beer is second to none...
That's all I remember actually. Gees, how long ago was that?
Yeah, there is suppose to be a connection between math and music. But it never connected for me either. I never learned any Mozart but could play a couple Bach and Beethoven pieces. Never did manage my way through Flur Elise.
I've always wanted to learn "Linus's Theme" (from the Charlie Brown shows). My sister sent me the sheet music for it many years ago and I took it over to a friend's house where he had a baby-grand in his living room. I tried to pick my way with it and my buddy sits down, takes a quick read and starts playing like he always knew it. I gave up that day. My ex's little brother was like that to. Except he didn't need to read, he'd just hear it and play. Last I heard, he was 2nd string violin or viola (don't remember which) for the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
