Famous aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery told the story of some desert-dwelling Arab noblemen who had been invited to visit Switzerland about 80 or 90 years ago. As they were being shown around the countryside by their host, they arrived at a beautiful waterfall. After watching the waterfall for several minutes, one of them asked the host, "How soon will the waterfall stop?". The host replied that it?ÿnever stops?ÿand had been running for thousands of years. The noblemen were amazed that their host would tell such an obvious lie.
