Saw one of those Street View cars drive by about 6 months ago, and wondered whether or not he was just going to lunch or taking pics.
Pretty cool. I saw another one drive by when I was dropping some plats off at a clients house, but GE hasn't updated that pic yet.
Is that a Blazer with the fold down tailgate? I worked out of a Blazer for a long time at a past job. I think the Blazer and the Element were the last SUVs with tailgates. I don't like working without a tailgate.
No, it's a regular fold-up door. I do miss the tailgate from the F150s that we had at the old job. When I got "downsized" in 2010 and had to go solo, I figured I'd make do with it because it's paid for. I built a box for the tripod/rod/level rod, and everything else goes in a toolbag or plastic Rhino bin. Needs to be cleaned up often, but gets the job done. Everything comes out easy if I need to go to family truckster mode.
