I think I'm there, but I'm not sure (actually have no idea) how to use it. I'm not on Facebook either, so I'm really lost. Beerleg has been my only social network.:-)

You're not alone Don, I have started my Google+ account (filled out profile), but not sure where to go next. One good thing is, I don't think you can mess it up. If you try something and don't like it, you can go back and change it.
You ought to try the Facebook too. There are a lot of us (Beer Leggers) there. I would be happy to have you as a friend.

I tried searching both of you on Google+. Tim, you didn't show up. I found Wendell and tried to respond to his most recent post (3 days ago, I believe) and accidentally ended up doing a "+1” whatever that means. If it's bad, I apologize. I am so lost with that stuff, but I don't oppose it. I'd like to figure it out.

I searched Don and found him, and added him to my circle.
So Don, you should have a notification, and be able to accept me.
Very similar to Facebook in the ability to search names and add results to friend's list (or circles).

For those with Android phones don't forget to check out the app. I really like the automatic upload function for pictures. When I arrive home or the office it automatically connects to the wifi and uploads all my geo-tagged pictures for the day (I have mine set to wifi only upload)
The google+ app for the iPad is apparently not available yet; only for iPhone(!?!). My google+ experience is a little sketchy at this point.

I don't think so at this time. I have been hearing some real nasties about Google.
