That's an outright lie.?ÿ I'm looking at a picture of an ag combine for sale.?ÿ It's close to 30 feet long and 24 feet wide.?ÿ And that silly clickable icon says it will allow me to see the combine full size.?ÿ I have stayed at a Holiday Inn, but it wasn't last night.
Has nothing to do with your combine, but "picturing" full size things reminded of something...
Years ago I had a spell of not-so-bright employees.?ÿ One of my pet peeves was telling someone the move a tenth left and having to repeat it ten times because they only moved the rod a hundredth.?ÿ One rainy day I gave them a "test".
I made sure everyone had piece of paper and something to write with.?ÿ I asked them all to draw three lines on the paper.?ÿ One line a foot long, one a tenth of a foot long and the other a hundredth long.?ÿ I would then measure them and see how close they were to correct.
Predictably nobody was very close.?ÿ The sad thing was they all had a piece of paper that was 8.5" x 11".?ÿ ?ÿEvery one of them had the "foot" drawn on the paper falling short of any edge...the tenths and hundredths were all over the place and all wrong.
It's hard to soar with the eagles when you're stuck in a flock of turkeys... 😉
