I am a graduate and a firm believer of Liberals Arts Education. A well rounded education is the way to go, especially with Land Surveying since we work with varying subjects and problems. I have started an amazon list of books that I've read that are not reference texts but just as educational. Have a look at the list and add if you like.
If interested, lets start a Foundation of Surveying Arts Group; a book club, or round table if you will...Let me know your thoughts. Suggestions to add...
