As my dad used to say, "That would make a preacher cuss."
Several. Both instigated and received. Some of the capsizes are nightmares.
A few of those have happened to me, but...

What is it with morons and bears? What kind of stupid just hangs out that close to a bear?
@dmyhill?ÿ
I was trying to figure it out too, looked like a younger bear, and maybe he was just not moving to avoid the prey predator response.
If you're not packing in that outback you're just a simple meal with no exogenous consequences.

"Packing" in brown/grizzly bear country takes on a whole new meaning.?ÿ Your polymer Glock 9mm only tickles them.?ÿ When I worked on the Kenai Peninsula (1970s) remote site surveying our 5 man crew was required to carry a company supplied .375 H&H Magnum bush rifle and every member had to carry a personally owned sidearm,?ÿ minimum .44 Magnum, popular with armor piercing truncated cone stainless steel bullets (no longer marketed or federally legal).
Being a Cheechako I thought the whole idea was stupid because of the added carry weight.?ÿ After a month several incidents scared the bejesus out of me and I religiously carried my sidearm even in camp like everybody else.?ÿ BTW moose scared me more than bears given they'll kick and stomp the sh*t out of you if you surprise or agitate them.
Yeah, I was only talking .44mag and up. .454Casull and a .338Win mag would suffice.
And better yet, a stick to trip the guy next to you too.
