Mrs. Cow has her first day of school today. She is starting her 29th year of teaching at the same school district. Nearly half the kids in her classes now are children of kids she had in years past. That helps a lot with discipline as the parents have already warned their kids of the dangers of crossing Mrs. Cow.
I call this my 9-month vacation. As I work out of my house, I have many hours of being here alone. During the summer months there are frequent interuptions to my routine thanks to Mrs. Cow. Sometimes it's as simple as hearing Little House on the Prairie in the distance and finding myself watching the rest of the show with her instead of wrapping up a survey plat.

You can call it a vacation if it makes you feel better, but reading between the lines it sounds like you are going to miss her. 😉 Now go get some work done.
