Kind of a weird story - but true.
So I get up this morning around 0730 - not usual.
I come downstairs. Talk to Dad on the phone a little.
Layed on the couch watching some news and fell asleep.
An amazing dream came upon me.
I was at someone's place with a small party going on.
A girl and I were hitting it off quite well.
As soon as the 2 of us going to leave, in walks an old friend, Curtis.
He and I both looked at each other in dumbed silence.
Then we lept at each other in a brotherly bear-hug embrace.

Two hours later I awake (shortly ago).
I call a mutual friend and former neighbor to find out what's up with him.
Come to find out no one knows.
He's apparently "been off the map for a couple years".
I ask if he might be in prison - again. (I know his record)
A quick search shows only his jacket which I already knew about and he is currently not in prison according to search results.

Now it's got me really wondering about him and somewhat worried.

What should I do - if anything?
Call his sister? I could drive you there but can't remember her married last name to get a phone number.
Call his ex? That might be uncomfortable for her but she wouldn't mind telling me.
Let it go to yet another bizarre dream?

The only reason I post about this is because the dream was so strong and vivid in full detail that I feel I should follow up on it.

Thoughts anyone?
E

If you can drive to the sister's, look up the address on an assessor's site for names, etc.

Follow up on it.

I'd be looking for the chickadee that you were about to take home in your dream. Thats just me though, I tend to write off old friends if they go to prison.

Sure Roadie, I'd be looking for her to. I have no clue who she is.
As to my old friend, he already did his time long before I met him so I won't judge him on that. I will, however, judge on the present. In the end, that's God's business anyhow. Not ours.

Well, Roadster, what if you met your old friends in prison.
Never been to prison, but I've got some old partners from jail.
Good people.

It's funny, in jail you've got to fit in. You don't want someone saying you're not "jail people."
Snobs are everywhere.:-)
