Anyone know how to delete your account?
My Dad is getting irate about it and just wants to dump it.
We are both getting spams from the same person and the domain shows facebookmail.com
I have not yet been able to figure out the connection [if any] but Dad wants his account deleted plain and simple.

In the dropdown menu at the top right corner, select Account Settings. Then in the left column, select Security. Click the Deactivate Your Account link.

BTW: I got my first piece of mail addressed to "Dr. Eric White".

However, upon further research…. I noticed those emails come from facebookmail.com
I looked that up and it has nothing to do with FaceBook. These emails are being faked and contain s..t that will attempt to garner access into our FaceBook login and personal information.
My recommendation is to mark them as spam and let your spam filter(s) take it from there. No need to deactivate your FB account unless you just want to.

It was meant as a joke on myself Dave. I enrolled for another class on the US Constitution and was feeling spunky at the time so I clicked on "Dr." as my name prefix. They had never sent me any mail before but this piece was addressed to Dr. your's truly. Me and the neighbors got a kick out it.
