This has to be one of the saddest games ever played on Monday Night Football. And, it's going to overtime until someone finds the ultimate way to lose.
More fumbles and interceptions than scoring drives. KC has 2 touchdowns and 2 field goals. SD has 1 touchdown (2 pt) and 4 field goals.
SD loses 2 yards in three plays and punts to KC.
It took up nearly 10 minutes of overtime, but, SD finally found a way to lose. Congrats to KC for not screwing up again.

Maybe the Chiefs should use their first round draft choices and other higher rouind picks to select players from the Big 12 instead of the SEC 😀

Loss Aversion Theory
I watched some with the sound muted and the stereo on.This is how I usually watch TV sports. I had Halloween portal duty last night along with puppy sitting.
The Chief PLAYERS did a good job of winning that game against a good offense. Their D was very good despite some slow and poor play by their safety #47. He was a step too slow on the SD TD plunge
The reason that the game is sloppy and somewhat boring is because of the coaches and loss aversion play calls.
Both head coaches were not trying to win but were trying to avoid losing. It makes for boring games. Norv Turner is a grandmaster at it. The young KC coach had to make loss aversion calls because if he keeps losing , he will lose his job.
Their is a big difference between playing to win and playing to avoid losing.
An extreme example of playing to win and not avoid a loss was in Superbowl XLIV when the Saints executed the onside kick for the second half kick off. It sealed the deal for the Saint players to commit to win.
Dexter McCluster made some nice catch and RUNS to seal the deal for the players last night. Thye KC coach was just trying to put him out in space and let his speed and skill change the game.
Charles Jones, local Mandeville HS kid that I linked the other day who was recruited and signed with KSU may be a nice prospect. He is speed and skill which is the foundation for football down here in Dixie.
His younger sister Chelsea, an 8th grader, participated recently in the Jr. Olympics in 4 running events and she is also a soccer player. I may get to see her play soccer this Winter and I can't wait.
As a lowly Lions fan, I'm glad that the Chief's won that suspense ridden debacle at Arrowhead. Mostly because my SWMBO is from Neb/Kansas City so I have to root for them. That is a tough vote for me too, because about 15 yrs ago I bet $50 on them to win the Stupor Blow, and they lost before they even got there.
Can't wait for Turkey Day to watch my lowly Lions hand the Packers their first loss and maneuver themselves into position to win the NFC North.....
....ok, dream over... 😛
Loss Aversion Theory
As a Charger fan, I was on the edge of my seat for most of the second half and overtime.
I find it easier to hit the TV screen when I throw things from there.:-(
Difficult to get the Big 12 players

The Big 12 Conference stole the show and made history, on a night when the NFL Draft made history with a prime-time first-round on the draft's 75th birthday.
For the first time in the history of the common draft (since 1967), a conference had the first four players selected.
Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford was the No. 1 selection by St. Louis, Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was the No. 2 pick by Detroit, Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy was the third choice, going to Tampa Bay and then Sooners' Oklahoma offensive tackle Trent Williams was the fourth player selected when he was tapped by Washington.
Since the first NFL Draft (in 1936) only one other time has the first four draft picks been from one conference. That happened in 1946 when players from the Southeastern were the first four draftees.
The Big 12 had five of the top six players selected, an unprecedented accomplishment. In 1967, the Big Ten Conference had five of the top eight selections.
Overall, the Big 12 had nine players selected in the first round - a record for the conference. The nine selections came within the top 24 picks. Last year, the Big 12 had seven first round picks. The most picks for a conference came in 2006 when the Atlantic Coast Conference had 12 players selected
