I've been wondering about something for a few years now. I figure the smart people who visit these forums will have an answer. Why is it that Walmart wants me to enter their stores on the left and exit on the right, which is contradictory to the standard that I'm use to? Is that the way they do it in the rest of the world?
I've noticed that too, but I'm usually so gobstruck by the surrounding peoples attire I never gave it much thought. This is especially true at the Apopka Wal-Mart, I'm sure you know the one! ?????ÿ
Stay out of Wal-Mart.?ÿ That will solve many of your problems.
It has now been more than 10 years since we have purchased anything at a Wal-Mart.?ÿ Support your small time operators who are simply attempting to do business where they, and you, want to live.
Bbbbut, how would surveyors afford jewelry, an fishin stuff if they didn't go to walley mart?

I don't think it's just Wal-Mart. There are multiple stores I can think of where you enter on the left side, and the logical explanation is that the exit side is the one closest to the checkout lanes. The direction of the doors should reduce the amount of collisions between incoming and outgoing traffic.?ÿ
Yea, and the "Great Value" giant bag of Circus Peanuts for $3.97? C`mon Cow, give us cheapskates some slack. ????
Sam Walton must have been from Great Britain or some other Country that drive's on the wrong side of the road. ?????ÿ

The shopping carts are stored on the left side.
It depends upon which end of the store you enter.
They got 4 entrances.
One on the right - enter on right leave on left
One on the left - enter on left leave on right
One from Automotive
One from Garden center.
I thought a buddy told me he had been hired to be a buyer at Wal-Mart.?ÿ Turns out he had been hired to sit near an exit and whenever he saw a customer leaving he was to wave to them and say "Bye". 😕 😕 😉 😉 ?ÿ
