My daughter is looking in to attending Elon University to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and was hoping locals could tell me a little bit about the area.

Elon is pretty centralized within NC. A few minutes from Greensboro. An hour and a half from the mountains, and 2.5 to the nearest beaches. I am not from around that part of NC, but have done some work in the area. It is growing area and is in a pretty nice town.
I have a buddy that played football for them But that's all I know about Elon. I could ask him if you had a specific question.
Small college town . Small college. New mega shopping center near by . NC has a lot of transplants so everyone fits in. Its close to the mountains and beach , with in a couple hours either direction. Big cities 30 min either direction .
I did hear on the news that Elon is banning the Chick Filet store on campus due to gay marriage issue ?
