Those are promising looking but I am sure the price is 100K or more.

Unless and until the price comes way down to be able to compete at the same price point as gas or diesel then they will remain playtoys of the rich and famous.

We will see, the Rivian is supposed to be 69k for the pu and 72k for the suv and the Bollinger is slated to be 60k. ?ÿTesla didnƒ??t make their price points and the government subsidies are going away

I've been wanting a Tesla model s since 2013. After a 6 year wait and finally deciding to buy one I?ÿ still have to wait until July before ordering because that is when the "refresh" is taking place. You can negotiate with Tesla for lifetime of free supercharging for a small fee if you tell them you aren't buying the vehicle unless this is included. You cannot negotiate anything on the model 3.?ÿ ?????ÿ

There's just so much noise about the Tesla vehicles it makes it difficult to understand an honest review of their car line.?ÿ

?ÿ

I have read a lot about EV's before and after purchasing one and I still know nothing really about Tesla's.?ÿ Tesla's are kind of their own world, connected but separate from the rest.?ÿ When this mania started, I would not consider such an expensive EV, now I would, but it is too late.?ÿ One thing I did find essential in deciding on the BMW was their use of Samsung cells and the fact that they are liquid cooled

I've had one for almost a year. Feel free to ask me anything you want to know.

ƒ??There is a cult like worship of all things Tesla and Elon Musk. It is so bad that I actually hope that company goes bankrupt so the cult will collapse and die. The Tesla fan boys and girls and their slavish devotion is nauseating.ƒ?

Well JAS, start nauseatinƒ?? cause Iƒ??m one of them and I seriously doubt Tesla, Paypal, and Space X are gonna go bankrupt. As far as Iƒ??m concerned Elon Musk is the Albert Einstein of the 21st ?ÿcentury.?ÿ ?????ÿ

Please tell us you are not one of these.....?ÿ https://electrek.co/2019/01/01/tesla-pickup-truck-drivers-supercharger-protest/

Well, I am not as optimistic as I was.?ÿ The automotive industry is treating commercial vans as if they were cars and in my opinion are missing the boat.?ÿ Of all of the EV vans coming only one is not pure EV.?ÿ The one I was aiming for was the Mercedes Sprinter and it is coming as EV only, which is absolutely worthless to me.?ÿ?ÿ There is no way I want a call from a crew saying they will be standing around for an hour while it charges.?ÿ Why they are not adding a range extending generator is beyond me, even if they had decent EV range, which they don't.?ÿ Only the Ford van will be here with range extension, but, it is only 31 miles (at best) of EV only, again what value is that??ÿ Maybe for flower delivery between charging.?ÿ It does appear that you pick up guys will have some better choices, but, the EV vans appear to be chasing City's that are outright outlawing ICE in their areas.?ÿ

Fl/GA Pls, I have followed the Tesla phenomenon fairly closely and if one only watches the popular news media you would be forgiven for falling for the sales pitch and hype. However as I do not give much credence to the "general concensus" because those folks seem to be smiten with the diety worship of Elon Musk I read and follow other sources for information.

?ÿThis is a decent read on their current state of affairs with Tesla. Modified ponzi nscheme

And there are many many more stories such as this. from what I read it is unlikely this company can survive much longer. I can't help but feel like they would have been far better to remain a boutique high margin manufacturer of luxury vehicles and avoid the mass market stuff. And besides Elon Musk is not a visionary at all no matter how many people prostrate themselves in worshipful obedience and fealty.
