Well? Get it fixed?

Depends on how old it is and what is wrong with it. If you decide to get it fixed and Dell can/will fix it, I would go that route. I spent 4 months having a private shop fix a Dell laptop (hard drive)last year only to have it go down again in two weeks. The second fix only took 6 weeks, but was a major pain to get them to fix it. I only had it repaired to get him through his last semester of college - we picked it up the day before he graduated.
