It appears the Dallas fire department has been put on alert for a certain posters birthday today. Probably take a while to light all those candles.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOODLES!

All Wendell has to do is buy those number candles....#4 and #0. Which raises the question, "Who celebrates birthday #0?"

Reminder for Wendell

Keep in mind that a very high percentage of participants here would view spending the night with a 40-year old woman as a very pleasant thought.

Wendell, “dude” you ain’t seen nothing yet so be prepared. For the following:

1. A beautiful daughter that will cause grey hair/baldness, and in some cases insanity.
2. A beautiful wife, whom without a doubt will journey through “menopause” (watch out for this one it’s real tricky).
3. And wondering how to cope with “hot flashes” (not yours, hers)

And that’s only the beginning!:-)

Have a great week!

There now, experiencing that.

She's already been there, done that.

See #2 above. Ovary removal works wonders. 😉

funny.

I told AARP my mailbox, inbox and telephone were off limits. It took about 4 times, but I think I got the point across.

Wendell,

Please accept my apologies. I was unaware that Angel was without ovaries; my comments were made in jest and experience. Ovary removal is not something to be taken lightly.

Humbly yours.

It's OK. I was glad to get all of those organs removed!! What the heck God was thinking when He built us women to bleed 1x a month is beyond me. :-/

I actually had the hysterectomy first. Besides eye surgery that was a VERY welcome surgery. The blood gusher was gone!!

Doc left the ovaries in, though, during that surgery, when he should have taken them out. I had PCOS for years and the ovaries were turning into nothing but problems. My gut feeling said rip them out now so I don't have to go through two surgeries, but noooo....I was over ruled because of my age. A year & a ½ after hysterectomy, one ovary wrapped around my intestine and caused a blockage and the other grew over on top of my bladder and caused its own sorts of problems. I went in for a day surgery and wound up stuck in the hospital for days because of those two little ovaries wrecking havoc. They had a party in me. LOL!! My lungs collapsed after surgery, I got a nasty hospital infection, my IV line shattered inside of my hand/vein, etc... At least the hospital food was good.

It took me about a year to recover from all of that but I am ALIVE and survived. It's the fighter in me. :hi5:

Coming that close to death sure put many things in perspective for me and I underwent a major life and attitude change. It was the best thing I could ever do. It's made me who I am today.
