Sounds like a great opportunity...or not.
It's probably telling that the job description is "to sign and seal mortgage surveys." It doesn't say anything about actually surveying.
I like the fact that they call themselves a land surveying company, but apparently don't have a licensed surveyor. Might have to look into this one a little further. I'm sure they probably have a certificate of authorization to offer surveying services.
By the way, the e-mail address listed was a Yahoo account. I realize that not everyone has their own domain, but this was part of a guy's name and a two digit number at yahoo.com.
The "mortgage survey" industry in Florida has been taken over by independantly operating "contract crews" and surveyors who rubber stamp whatever is put on their desk ... and the board doesn't seem to give a crap.
