They're cowboys too...called drugstore cowboys. They're probably good at line dancing.. 😛

Well....there are some guys who put a fruit basket on their heads and it does make them Carmen Miranda.:'(

I like a bangora style straw hat. It breaths very well. I wear it regularly when working cows, or just outside for whatever else needs to be done. 🙂

I will grant you that there surely were a few in the several hundred present that night. Most looked like IRS agents attempting to pretend to be human for a few hours.

Men with manicured hands rarely have much respect for animal agriculture or the people who make that industry successful.

I will also grant you that on the night I attended a performance at the Houston Opera House or whatever it is officially called I did not show up wearing my "shud" stained cap and blue jeans.

Not everyone stayed on the ranch, Cow. Texas is kinda' large, and you won't know who is who until you've talked to them awhile. You'd be amazed.

It is not at all uncommon to find folks with a good bit both in and out...
I grew up with more than a few pair of boots and did my share on a working farm. With less than a dozen horses and no cattle I never thought of myself as a 'cowboy'. The few I've known made lasting impressions...
