I just got a call from a complete and total moron and it was all I could do to resist the urge to let him know that he is a total moron.
He did not know his own phone number, He asked if I had caller id, which I do but I still wanted him to confirm the number so he had to ask his wife.
I asked him in whose name the property is in and he told me that it is in his name.
He told me the street address and street name and county.
I begin to try and find it and I cannot so I call him up and inform him that I am not able to find any info and I need to confirm what I wrote down.
I let him know that I believe he told me the wrong information at which point he got a bit snippy.
So he went and got a piece of mail.
Wrong street number
Wrong street name
Wrong County
Wrong Subdivision name
And the property is in his wife's name.
Many people that call me try to remain as anonymous as possible while attempting to nail me to the wall.

Did you confirm he was indeed calling you to order some sort of survey and not looking to hire out a fence install or house painting? LOL
I've had people be off?ÿa number in the address or lot but to not know your own phone number...that's legit ignorance!
I have had people be deceptive and lie concerning why they need a survey. Some have lied about full blown property disputes and the fact that they have been fired by other surveyors because of various reasons. Some are just wanting to maintain control over a subject they know nothing about but this was just odd.
When I finally found the property and called back the fella answered and told me to call back and leave a message and hung up.
Screw that, I'm not his damned piss boy and I am not gonna hold the bucket and wait for the shake.
