Time for my annual check up on my heat and air system. I get a half off price on the inspection this time of year instead of waiting until something goes wrong when summer sets in.
Same guy four years in a row and his little PDA has all the model numbers of all my systems. He already has checked it for four years and knows where their might be troubles likely to occur.
He knows what to clean, what to service and he's in and out in about an hour. Plus on a couple of occasion he has pointed out problems not related to heat and air.
Low baller or just a good business idea?
Customer service
Good ya have someone like that!
I think Android has an app for that. Just put it up to your head, it scans your circuitry and it saves everything in a .xml file if you're a surveyor.
I'll take "My Brother is an AC Contractor" for 100, Alex
Answer... "mook"
What does my brother call some of his customers?

"Clang, clang, bang, bang"
LMAO
Reminiscient of the commercial with the "mechanic" chimps OR the guy that's so proud of the repairman that has "fixed" his transmission...four times.
I have a really good heating and air guy doing my work. Half of the homes on our street use this guy. He knows his stuff but he kind of reminds me of Bert Miller (the door-to-door salesman) on the Andy Griffith show. He knows his stuff but he is always hesitant to push anything.
Last year I had to replace my gas pack unit and he made a recommendation for a certain size. I wanted to get one a little larger but he insisted that there was no need. Then I told him that I would like to qualify for the tax credit offered for energy efficiency and the unit that he recommended was not rated high enough. He said that as long as I didn't mind waiting until 2011 to get my money back it was a good idea.
I just found an auto mechanic who's cut out of the same material. It's nice to have confidence in the people you deal with. Now, if we can get our clients to appreciate true value....

Can you believe it, today one of my units crapped out and I gotta spend 3k on it. It is very old and the coil started leaking in a way that it can't be repaired.
Deral-
Don't need no A/C !
My kilt doesn't go "Clang, clang, Bang, Bang," just whoosh 😉
