Those of you that know me personally have probably had to endure my annual fall-winter weather predictions at some time or the other...I apologize.:-$

But here it goes for this year:

I predict a fairly stable and near average autumn, with below average rainfall continuing.

Probably in early October we will be visited at least once by some frigid air from the north. My guess is that without the presence of Gulf moisture, rainfall will be minimal in these period.

Afterwards we will probably enjoy what we consider an "Indian Summer" until a developing weak El-Nino drags the jet stream farther south in the plains. December and January could bring us some signifigant ice and/or snow events.

If the sub-tropical jet stream robs us of available Gulf moisture, this ice and snow will probably develop east of here (watch out, Nate).

My long range forcast for late winter-early spring 2013 is for strengthening of the weak Pacific El-Nino bringing us plenty of 'naders, thunderstorms and frog stranglin' flash floods with above average rainfall, probably in March.

plan and dress accordingly...end of report
