I just picked up one of these last week.

I bought a refurbished model from Staples on Thursday. It was on the door step Friday afternoon.

I just got finished installing it, and it seems to be okay. I needed the ability to print on 11x17 for a client, and it has a auto document feeder for copying and scanning. I can scan and copy originals up to 11x17.

I think I am going to like this thing.

Excellent copier, Jimmy. I've had mine for several years.

Now, you'll need to read [msg=71197]this posting[/msg] so you can save HUGE $$$$ on ink cartridges. I've not had any problem with the ones I've purchased. They are extreeemly cheap, but work just fine.

Jimmy, the one thing that I don't like about it is the copies it produces... it's too ink heavy or something... Seems to be a light blue tint that it sprays...

So, if you are going to produce plats from it, just run them from pdf's or as original plots. What I mean is, don't plot one, and then expect to copy the rest. You will have a hard time printing to mylar also if that is your standard... and vellum can be a headache too... this is a paper only machine... at least for me.

Thanks for all the replies and information.

I plan on using this for general plotting and copies on smaller papersizes. I don't plan on using it too much for plotting, only on ledger size paper. I just have one new client that wants their surveys on ledger size sheets. I won't need to plot on anything other than paper

I have had the need to scan pages larger than letter size here recently, and this will fit the bill.

I will check out the cartridges website.

Thanks!
