is anybody else getting tired of ESPN shoving cameras and microphones in this guy's face and down his throat?

There is so much else in the world of much better interest to see and hear. Sheesh, Just let the guy go back to south Mississippi and work on his farm. Dude is hanging on to the microphone like its his last breath. As the Bard (Robert Hunter) once wrote: "please don't dominate the rap Jack, if you got nothin' new to say".

It's getting painful to watch. Petty had a good take on it:

Time to Move On

Im just glad to say that I watched him play. I don't care how the media storm spins it, or how the record books note it. There is something to be said about watching for yourself and making up your own opinion of an athlete and their character. In 5 years all he will be remembered for is the fact that he wrote nearly all of the QB records.

In my opinion the guy is and will always be a legend of the sporting nature, right up there with Cal Ripken Jr, Nolan Ryan, Michael Jordan, Jerry Rice, Sergey Bubka, Carl Lewis ect, ect. Each of us has there own list im sure.

38, a few games after that picture was taken. He suffered a concussion and broke his sternum as he threw an interception for a touchdown against Pittsburgh.
