OK, so I have all this time on hands pretty much these days.
Some have suggested I write a book of stories I have told here.

I don't know how many stories I've told here and on that "other" board.
Most recent that comes to mind is the one about the aquarium stuff and my fish named "Buster".

I've decided to collect them all into a single document.
Anyone got a bump start without me having to re-tell? I'd just as soon copy and paste rather than re-tell/write.

Just give me some topics and/or links.
E.

Well, if you click on your user name on any of your posts, and then click on Show All Posts, you will get over 1800 of them you have made, to sort through to find the stories. That will use up some of that spare time.

Or, if you remember some keywords for stories you have told, you can search for
site:surveyorconnect.com BigE keyword

Go For it!

Since many of the patrons of this planet seem to not be concerned so much any more about absolute accuracy of stories, you could draw from other peoples stories, and embellish your tales, into entertaining reads, about:

Chapter one: I need a job. (All the stuff that gets it started)

Chapter two: Land Surveying?

Chapter three: I learn why Surveyors drink.

Chapter four: "So, how's your love life" (Boss hires a female).

Chapter five: Mixing surveying, love, and alcohol.

Chapter six: Automobiles VS ox carts (Surveyor transportation issues)

Chapter seven: Dead batteries

Chapter eight: The woman at the courthouse

Chapter nine: putting it all together

Chapter ten: The fine art of pin cushioning your own survey!

Chapter Eleven: No time to fish

(I have a piece of art for that last one, I post a pic later)

Good luck, Big E

Some of my favorite reads are:

Anything James Herriot, Marine Sniper, And a hard rain fell, and of course, the Bible.

Go For it!

I clearly have missed a lot of posts. I'll reserve a copy now though.
