Our daughter is a big time Robert Downey Jr. fan so we took her to see the matinee showing of "Due Date". It has some funny parts but some of it was just WAY too crude for most peoples taste. I felt bad for the elderly couple watching it in front of us.
Pink Floyd lovers will enjoy the "stoned" Pink Floyd scene. My opinion: Save your money and wait for the $3 theater or better yet the DVD, redbox or netflix.
Personally, I think RD Jr.s best work was in Less Than Zero. But I am prejudiced to 1980s movies and the other actor who he starred with. 😉
Less than Zero was a good flick, so was St. Elmos Fire & Breakfast Club, classic 80's, good memories if you are from that era.
Don't you forget about me.....
You Took A Teenager To A Movie And Stayed ?
Are you trying to ruin her social life?
Congrats on the anniversary, but at this stage there is a short list to parenting duties:
1. Food
2. Money
3. More Food
4. Some Transportation
5. Some more food
At any gathering with teenage boys present, double 1, 3 and 5.

I hope you don't believe "elderly" is less than 80
slower does Not mean "near dead":-)
Wow, her review gives it FAR more credit than I would give it. It was just another one of those cross-country-trip-where-everything-goes-wrong movies, but not as good as most.
Vacation and Planes, Trains & Automobiles has all of them beat.
I really like Chaplin also. He was brilliant in that.
Andrew McCarthy
@Boundary - Exactly. I'm from that era and love those movies!! Well most of them.
@Paul - Thank you!! 17 years today!!
She was fine going with us because it meant she didn't have to pay and got a free meal out of the deal. 😉 I dunno how teens are able to eat so much!! They are like bottomless pits!! In the mouth, out the .... feet. 😛
@Peter - No, silly. They were probably in their late 60s-early 70s. I could tell they were grossed out by some of the movie "scenes".
@Ryan - YEA!!! Him Him!! My favorite actor ever!! Also a lefty, I might add. 😀
