But the hot summer here in central Texas is flexing its muscle again.

Friday, my son and I started out at sun-up on a ranch we have been working on for about a year. Finally finished the field work for this owner after a 10 hour day.

By 10am it was about a 100, by 2pm it was 104. No breeze and around 70 percent humidity.

I have not been out of the house all weekend and still a little wobbly.

Next week's forecast calls for more of the same if not worse.

Take care people!!!

Randy

We've had 90's and 100's here for a while.

I was not looking forward to August as it is usually the hottest and most humid month.

It was in the mid 70's yesterday.

The 10 day forecast is calling for low 70's to low 80's for highs and down to the 40's for lows. We jumped straight into October.

We've actually only been in the double digits for the past week after about six weeks of triple digits almost every day. It sounds weird to say, "Oh, halleluhah, its only going to be 98 today."

It has been the same around here.

Yesterday I did static on about a dozen points and monuments to place several different older projects on the same page to locate a 4mile long Headright line.

It took alot out of me. A few doses of allergy meds, fluids and 12hrs sleep have helped.
