Sivil Ingineer?

I remember years ago seeing a “SI Journal” – an engineering related rag or newsletter from some organization or society, and the SI stood for a comical, rusticated phonetic interpretation of Civil Engineer – Sivil Ingineer. Like pie are square, no pie are round. Maybe that's it?

Lath is also a 3/8 x 1-1/2 by 2'- 6' B-) Same thing, depends on where you are standing.
