We spent 3 weeks in upstate New York, mostly the Adirondacks, camping and motelling it. We hiked Mt. Marcy, New York's high point (a 15 mile round trip hike) and some other smaller hikes and mt. biking, but mostly hung out at the numerous clear lakes enjoying the swimming and landscape (and warm temps). We also visited the 1000 islands area and Lake Ontario. Great trip and close to home.

Sounds like a good vacation. Are you going to do the picture deal with this vacation ? I never get to go anywhere so i get to live somewhat vicariously through pictures of y'alls camping and hiking adventures.
