Guys,
I have looked in the help menu, to no avail.
I am using AutoCAD Civil 3D, 2010, on Windows XP platform.
I have used the "textmask" command on a few pieces of text. Now, I want to removed the mask.
How do I tell for sure whether or not the mask is present, and how do I remove it?
thanx,
Geezer
In LDD2000 you can tell that the text mask exists by selecting the text and looking to see if it has double grips at each corner. There is a tool from the old Express Tools that AutoCAD provided to subscibers that removes the mask automatically. Alternately, you should be able to explode the masked text which will result in a text or mtext object and the four lines that made up the mask, then just delete the lines.
You can see the wipeout frames by typing
WIPEOUT F ON
Just keep in mind that the frames will show up on prints if they are on, so before printing, you'll need to turn them back off with
WIPEOUT F OFF
I found a TWIPEOUTS.LSP file on the web that toggles the frames between on and off, then assigned the command to CTRL+W, so all I have to do is hit CTRL+W to toggle the frames on and off.
Simple, but not necessarily correct answer: textunmask
kudos to all.
this board is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!:-)
